Local engaged Rewild Agency to support the quantification, management and reduction of its organisational carbon footprint in alignment with Climate Active requirements. The engagement focuses on establishing a robust annual emissions inventory, refining the organisation’s emissions reduction strategy, and supporting the procurement of high-integrity carbon offsets to maintain credible certification.

Rewild’s role spans detailed technical carbon accounting, practical project management support and strategic advisory, ensuring Local’s approach to carbon neutrality is transparent, defensible and aligned with best practice.

Our Methodology

• Carbon Accounting & Climate Active Certification

  • Undertook a comprehensive GHG audit for CY2025, including Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions

  • Supported data collection and provided end-to-end project management

  • Developed a data management plan to address missing data sources, including calculation of uplift factors where required

  • Ensured full alignment with the Climate Active Standard

  • Completed the Climate Active emissions inventory, required templates and Public Disclosure Statement (PDS)

• Emissions Reduction Strategy

  • Reviewed and updated Local’s existing emissions reduction strategy
