Project Overview

SHAPE is a national construction and fitout specialist delivering complex commercial, workplace, health, education and civic projects across Australia. Operating across multiple offices and jurisdictions, SHAPE has a strong focus on quality, safety and long-term value for clients, alongside a growing commitment to climate responsibility and ESG leadership within the construction sector.

Rewild Agency first partnered with SHAPE in 2022 to establish a robust organisational carbon accounting baseline and support the business in achieving Climate Active certification. The engagement was designed to move beyond one-off certification, embedding scalable systems, credible data and strategic direction to support emissions reduction, regulatory compliance and transparent ESG reporting as SHAPE continues to grow nationally.

This partnership has since expanded to include ongoing carbon footprint management, office-specific target setting, credible offset procurement and the development of a company-wide ESG strategy aligned with emerging mandatory climate reporting requirements.

Key Services Provided

  • Conducted carbon boundary setting and relevance testing across 25 emissions aspects, defining SHAPE’s operational and supply chain footprint.

  • Delivered a national staff transport survey to quantify Scope 3 emissions and inform ongoing footprint management software integration.

  • Prepared and managed SHAPE’s Climate Active submission and certification, confirming carbon neutrality for organisational operations.

  • Developed SHAPE’s first ESG Strategy, aligned with emerging mandatory climate disclosure requirements (ISSB/ASRS), ensuring compliance-readiness.

  • Supported the creation of a robust data governance framework to capture, verify and report sustainability metrics across all SHAPE offices and projects.
