To assist SHAPE walk the talk, Rewild Agency acted at the Green Star Accredited Professional (GSAP) to guide them to achieving a certified 6 Star Green Star (Interiors v1.3) rating at their new Head office at 100 Queens Street, Melbourne.

Key initiatives to achieve the 6 Star rating include:

•Energy Efficient: An energy model was created to demonstrate how the fit out uses 

•Sustainably Sourced: 95 per cent (by cost) of all timber used in the office is either certified by a forest certification scheme or from a reused source, 60 per cent of timber furniture, or timber components within furniture,  met the requirements of the ‘Sustainable Timber’ criteria and 95 per cent of all engineered wood products met the specified formaldehyde emission limits

•Excellent Indoor Environmental Quality: High levels of daylight received across the floorplan, plus 95 per cent of all internally applied paints, adhesives, sealants, and carpets meet specified VOC limits.

•Indigenous Design: The team engaged Indigenous Design Consultants, consulted with the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Cultural Heritage Land Council and commissioned two Indigenous Artists to meaningfully enhance 100 Queen Streets' Indigenous culture.
