“Rewild worked seamlessly alongside our team to translate complex LEED requirements into practical actions on site. Their support reduced compliance risk, streamlined documentation, and gave us confidence we could deliver against the LEED Gold target without impacting programme.”

Project Overview
SHAPE Australia is a leading Australian fitout and construction specialist, delivering complex, high-quality commercial interiors.
Rewild Agency was engaged by SHAPE to provide contractor-side sustainability and ESD support for the delivery of a premium workplace fitout for Morgan Stanley in Melbourne, targeting LEED Gold certification.
Working as an embedded partner to the contractor team, Rewild supported the translation of LEED requirements into clear, buildable actions across procurement, construction and project close-out. The engagement focused on maintaining compliance with stringent LEED criteria while navigating programme, procurement and site constraints typical of complex commercial fitouts.
Key Services Provided
Contractor-side ESD and sustainability advisory throughout construction
Interpretation and implementation of LEED Gold requirements
Materials compliance reviews aligned with low-emitting and responsible sourcing criteria
Construction waste management and reporting support
Indoor environmental quality (IEQ) compliance, including VOC assessments
LEED documentation compilation, tracking and quality assurance
Our Methodology
Rewild delivered practical, construction-focused support, ensuring sustainability requirements were embedded into day-to-day project delivery:
Translate: Interpreted LEED requirements into clear contractor obligations, procurement criteria and site-based actions
Review: Assessed samples, shop drawings and product data for compliance with LEED credits and US standards
Advise: Supported procurement and substitution decisions to maintain compliance without impacting cost or programme
Track: Maintained live compliance registers across materials, waste and IEQ credits
Close-out: Compiled and quality assured all documentation for LEED submission
This approach ensured sustainability outcomes were delivered through construction, rather than retrospectively documented.
Key Initiatives Delivered
Low-emitting materials compliance
Materials were selected and verified against stringent US LEED VOC emissions standards, ensuring all paints, adhesives, sealants and finishes met indoor air quality requirements.Construction air quality management
A robust Construction Air Quality Management Plan was implemented, maintaining high standards of dust control, protecting installed materials, and ensuring ductwork remained clean prior to commissioning.Enhanced commissioning
SHAPE worked closely with the Independent Commissioning Agent (ICA) to develop and implement enhanced commissioning processes, strengthening system performance and verification outcomes.Building Product Disclosure and Optimisation (EPDs)
Rewild and SHAPE collaborated to identify and procure compliant products with Environmental Product Declarations, supporting LEED material transparency and optimisation credits.
