“Rewild’s modelling expertise was instrumental in optimising the project’s thermal performance while maintaining buildability. Their evidence-based approach gave us confidence that sustainability targets could be achieved without compromising design or construction outcomes.”

— Andrew Hogan, Managing Director, Point Polaris

Project Overview

This townhouse development in Glen Iris comprises 20 three-level, three-bedroom dwellings (Class 2) with a shared basement car park and landscaped communal areas. Rewild Agency was engaged to define and demonstrate sustainability outcomes in line with the City of Stonnington planning scheme, embedding strong environmental performance, occupant comfort and future-ready design from early planning through delivery.

Sustainability outcomes were established through a comprehensive Sustainability Management Plan (SMP), supported by BESS and STORM assessments, addressing local ESD and WSUD policy requirements.

Key Services Provided

  • NatHERS thermal performance assessment and certification

  • Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) strategy and STORM assessment

  • BESS assessment and planning compliance support
