Project Overview
Mirvac Limited is one of Australia’s leading integrated property groups, with a strong commitment to sustainability, climate leadership, community, and social impact.
Mirvac first engaged Rewild Agency in 2024 across two complementary scopes of work: providing in-house carbon and sustainability capability through a senior secondment, and delivering advisory support to progress both the company’s Science Based Targets commitments and several related climate and wider ESG workstreams. This collaboration with Mirvac’s sustainability team has now continued into 2026.
Key Services Provided
Embedded senior sustainability and carbon accounting support via a 9-month secondment.
Emissions boundary setting, carbon accounting, basis of preparation and reporting across scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions.
ESG / community and social value assurance support as part of annual reporting commitments.
Advisory support for Mirvac’s Science Based Targets (SBTs) via the SBTi standard.
Our Methodology
Seconded senior Rewild resource into the Mirvac Sustainability Group to provide hands-on, in-house support.
Collated and supported third-party assurance of community investment and social sustainability metrics for public reporting.
Developed a robust Basis of Preparation for scope 3 emissions, including control approach and emissions boundary definition.
Collated, reported and supported assurance of scope 1 and 2 emissions in accordance with the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) Scheme.
Supported development of a guideline for carbon offset selection to inform future net positive targets.
Prepared and submitted SBTs for validation.

Strengthened Mirvac’s internal sustainability and carbon accounting capability through embedded expertise.
Supported credible, assured climate and social sustainability reporting aligned with regulatory and voluntary frameworks.
