Rewild Agency is a Melbourne-based sustainability consultancy and certified B Corp advising across environment and social governance (ESG), environmentally sustainable design (ESD), and climate change, including climate risk and resilience, strategy, reporting, and education. Rewild Agency works with organisations to develop their sustainability plans and transform them into action.
Our ESD services help our clients to achieve industry-leading sustainable design outcomes. From assistance with Green Star certification, the WELL building standard, and Living Building Challenge accreditation through to whole building life cycle analyses (LCA) and embodied carbon reduction – we are passionate about regenerative design and decarbonising the built environment.
Our work spans government, construction, professional services, hospitality and tourism, manufacturing, education, and agricultural sectors (to name a few). The team is comprised of interdisciplinary thinkers and technical specialists including designers, data analysts, engineers, and strategists.

About the role
We are currently hiring for an experienced senior advisor to lead many of our governance, climate and risk advisory workstreams. We are currently assisting many clients with preparing for their mandatory climate reporting obligations under the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS) as well as undertaking double materiality assessments, setting credible science-based targets (SBTs) and supporting organisations on their B Corp journeys as they transition onto B Labs new standards. This role will be a dynamic opportunity for an experienced sustainability professional to help our clients navigate their reporting requirements, build internal capabilities, governance and risk management systems to ultimately drive effective decarbonisation and wider ESG strategies and programs.
This role will see you working with large corporations including ASX-listed companies, such as financial institutions, law firms, construction business, property developers, and manufacturing companies.
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
Curiosity and passion for all aspects of sustainability.
Experience in sustainability consulting or a similar corporate governance or climate-related field.
Experience in climate science, decarbonisation strategies and transition planning, including familiarity with global climate and ESG standards (e.g. GHG Protocol, SBTi, IFRS, AASB S2, AASB S1, PCAF, B Corp, CSRD etc).
A detailed understanding of carbon accounting frameworks and methodologies and auditing / assurance standards.
Skills in climate risk assessment, scenario analysis and/or climate resilience planning.
Familiarity with broader Australian and International corporate sustainability standards, frameworks, and guidelines (e.g. Corporations Act, NGERS).
An understanding of climate change policy and regulation within Australia and internationally.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to convey technical concepts and solutions to non-technical audiences.
Confidence in managing client relationships and running meetings or workshops with a variety of stakeholders.
Excellent time management and project management skills that you’ve successfully applied to projects.
The ability to think creatively, analytically, and collaboratively with others.
High levels of self-motivation.
An open, fun, and agile attitude toward solving problems and providing sound advice for our clients.
Experience in mentoring or training on sustainability topics and best practice.
An interest in business development and operations.

Key responsibilities:
Project managing Rewild’s climate change work, with support from the Directors, other colleagues, and our clients.
Delivering expert climate-related technical skills through carbon accounting services and net zero strategies + wider climate advice for our clients.
Assistance with business development (for our climate services) through helping to manage inbound enquiries and proposals.
